Well, if it had been me it would be because I decided randomly at the event which class and what to check. If I'm bored I'll have one person name a part and another pick a class without telling them why I need it.
OOOkey you can be our umbrella girl----wear something tight and sexy----- lets see---------:wow: and maybe?
All I know is when I saw the title of the sbp post "crank inspection" I had a mental image that nearly made me gag. Teeehehehe... they said 'crank'.
The report says all three Suzukis got torn down and this is the 3rd time they have looked at the crank in the #6 bike...It was compaired to a crank they carry in the AMA truck...but needed further inspection. http://www.cyclenews.com/ShowStory.asp?HeadlineID=12812
According to an article that was linked to Cycle news, this is the third time that part has been checked this year. Again I ask, not to you specifically, why would Yosh even think about something that might not pass? It makes you wonder, what about the part this time is so different than the last two they looked at.
Oh, they don't need to check his crank (heh sorry) They need to check Mat's fuggin brakes! Unbelievable. MM 0wnz VIR
Didn't see that this is the third time til the Cycle News article, that definitely puts a different spin on it...
Third times the charm, maybe Suzuki thought the inspections were over? Maybe after 2 ok inspections they figured other things would be checked instead. I heard that different parts were checked on each bike. Is that normal or do all bikes in tech usually get the same inspection? I imagine Suzuki said there was a change in tooling or some such to account for a different look ( presuming MM's crank was visually different to the sample ) and a couple more examples may be ordered/shipped to Ohio from different Suzuki warehouses to complete the inspection
they'll return it in a box of rocks and railroad ties that has been bouncing around in the back of a pick-up for a week or two...
