    42. I started jumping at 40, so I'm still a relative beginner. I remember one time being first in the door, jumping solo at the time but still working toward my A license, probably 20 jumps total. I get the green light and lean out to spot, but there were some clouds and I couldn't find the DZ. It started to feel like I was holding up the whole aircraft, so I just jumped out. I was in freefall thinking about how dumb I was. Turned out fine, but it was a rookie move.

    Imagine the irony of deciding not to send it because its not safe, then falling to your death on the walk down...
