You know I have said this before and I say it every time the war issue comes up.

The men that were in control of IRAQ were SADISTIC, EVIL (not our good evil but evil evil) Wastes of space.

They starved their own people, they killed small children, women, elderly etc. etc. to keep their stranglehold and build one of the largest armies in the world. They raped, tortured and stole from the citizens of Iraq. I could go on and on about the attrocities they committed.

These were not covert operations, these were not MINOR exaggerations of what happen these were wll documented policies of the regime that they were so proud of they had the newspaper that they owned write about it.

If G-Dubya Exaggerated a little on exactly what we knew, so what there was enough circumstantial evidence that they had WMD's to convince the ENTIRE US CONGRESS along with most of the rest of the world (even though they are a bunch of pansy asses) that they had them. The crimes they committed against their own people were enough to convince me.

I guess I am going to get all Machiavellian here THE END JUSTIFIES THE MEANS.

I wish just one time Susan Saradon and Tim Robbins would have been in one of the clubs that UDAY rolled up on. He would have taken that red headed pale skined former hottie threw her in the LIMO, Then he would have busted off a cap in Robbins head and drug his dead corpse aroun while he anal raped ole SUZIE. Then I would have liked to have heard what they had to say about the war.

I heard an interesting statistic. (Not EXACT numbers) At one point during the war it was estimated that over 1,000 civilians could have been killed (collateral damage) in a 1.5 month period. During that same time it is estimated that the regime would have killed twice that many anyway. :Puke:

OH WELL GO ON BELIEVING IT WAS ALL ABOUT THE OIL, GO ON BELIEVING THAT WE ARE IMPERIALIST BASTARDS. I WILL GO ON BELIEVING THAT NO MATTER WHAT THE REASON...UDAY AND QUSAY WILL NOT RAPE ONE MORE INNOCENT WOMAN OR KILL ONE MORE LITTLE BABY TO MAKE THEIR FATHER JOIN THE ARMY!

God Bless George Bush for having the NUTS to say F#CK YOU to all the pussies of the world that stood by while innocent people were raped and slaughtered.

And oh by the way, If I get a nickle off a gallon of gas that would have made it worth it to. :Poke:

And what did they blow up? A breeder reactor, using (former) Soviet Union technology and parts. So why build a breeder reactor, where a pressurized water reactor would generate electricity also? Why, to make weapons-grade plutonium.

But why did Sadaam not use the oil he already owned to fire a generating plant? 'Cause he could not get plutonium from an oil-fired plant.

Would the Isreali's have bombed an oil-fired generating plant? I doubt it. Bombing a breeder reactor that was under construction kept Sadaam from making the nuke material in his own back yard.

    Hi Team,

Just so you know, the combat team from the 173rd Airbone along with SF personnel found several camps in Northern Iraq. All of which had the signs of being terrorist training facilities much like those in Afghanistan. There were documents there that connected those camps to suspected Al-Queera operatives right down to the same monetary accounts they used. FYI, I didn't find that out through the "devil-media", I found it out from some close friends. BUT, it later made a small headline on CNN, in between all the hype about how there was never an WOMD.

George, I'm sorry but I don't see what difference 'why' this and 'why' that makes. As far as I can see, the 1981 bombing was an act of state sponsored terrorism, not unlike 9/11.

Denial - A place Due North visits often.

Are you really that dense or are you just laying out bait?

9/11 - An barbaric attack against CIVILIANS with CIVIL aircraft to do nothing more than make a political point and attempt to effect US foreign policy.

'81 - A precision military strike that destroyed a direct and plain threat to the very existance of Israel. There were very few deaths, the Israelis specifically timed the attack to limit casualties, even amoung the Iraqis who were working on the bomb.

To even suggest any sort of parallel completely blows whatever credibility for rational discussion you might have out of the water.

    You lose.

I guess DUE is one of those PANSIES I was talking about. You know. The type that think that RATIONAL conversation and political sanctions work on a MADMAN.

How is it that people do not understand that when it comes to the destruction of the WORLD it is better to ERR on the side of caution. If the ISRAELIS thought for even a second that what was going on, was in anyway leading up to IRAQ being able to process and produce weapons grade nuclear material they did the world a favor by bombing the place. Israel has NUCLEAR weapons they realize the importance of making sure that a MADMAN doesn't have them so as not to induce a Nuclear Holocaust.

I believe where there is SMOKE there is fire.

I WILL PUT IT TO YOU THIS WAY.

There is a myth out there that if you do not find a BODY you can not have a murder. That is unequivocally not the case. If you have enough circumstantial evidence you can convict a person of murder without a body or a weapon. This is what happened in the case of both of the arguments above.

Sure we did not have a WMD in our hands to prove they had them..however the facts remain that they had them and that they were actively seeking to use them. Not only that but they went out of there way to give the ILLUSION that they had more...the fought the UN Weapons inspectors tooth and nail all along the way...If they didn't have them why did they do that.

It doesn't matter anyway. The conspiracy theorists would have claimed afoul no matter what. No matter what turned up we can be made to look bad. NO WEAPONS - We look like imperialist capitalists out for our own gain. Weapons - We planted them to make ourselves look good. Like I said before, I am just thankful that GWB had the NUTS to do it KNOWING what awaited him/US either way.

GOD BLESS THE AMERICAN WAY!

I am a liberal conservative. When it comes to the rights of people I am LIBERAL. I believe EVERYONE in THIS country has the right to do what they want. I also believe in the rights of people NO MATTER HOW STUPID to believe what they want.

As far as foriegn policy is concerned I believe that EVERYONE has a right to live like we do. If they don't understand it or they don't agree with it, I believe we have the obligation to SHOWthem how great our way of life is. After that...it's their decision. :Poke:

Sadly Repo, its true. If it hadn't been for that spinless bastard of a Prime Minister, Diefenbaker , Canada would have developed the premier combat aircraft of the day - the Avro Arrow.

    Never trust a f*&king conservative.
