Redneck does some sweet stuff.....that is one nice ride skinner.....so does Brass Balls someone mentioned earlier. Everyone should ride WTF they want....I've had my HD FXR since 91...200,000 miles (aint shit compared to Kith)...I love the f'ing thing! I race vintage, EX540 and an old CB350....to me, sportbikes are supposed to be on the track. They dont "fit as well" on the street. Just like my HD wouldnt "fit as well" on the track.... Yeah....both is the way to go...for me anyhow.
another of my favorite bobber style builders are Sucker Punch Sallys. http://www.suckerpunchsallys.com/
Erin Higanbotham - Cyclenut here on the board - used to work at TRC which is an automotive test company here in Ohio. Some company brought in one of the pre-fab choppers to qualify it for a DOT braking test and none of their test riders could do it. He put his racing gear on, took a practice run, and then went out and took care of it for them, just barely. Its backward from what we are used to, stomp on the back brake and just barely touch the front.
BTW love the RC-51 chopper! Cool as hell, and you'll NEVER see another one like it at some bike nite.
I owned this one from 1981 - 2004 1971 Triumph Bonniville True Springer Front Pirelli front Goodyear Rear "Z" Drag Bars 8-1/2' Tire to tire [/IMG] [/IMG] Yeha!
My next one was not as radical '71 Triumph Tiger I owned this one from 1989 - 2003 [/IMG] And of course my current ride '95 Triumph Thunderbird [/IMG]
Of course they did, most of them, but now the ones that will show me their tits when I ask do..........
Sucker Punch does have cool stuff. I was leaning towards their mechanic special before I decided to build the RC. With paint work I will have about as much in mine as a completed bike from them. I think all my pieces will be done by this weekend so the reassembly can start!!
. When I rode street, I was guilty of the "occasional" backroads highway wheelie. Far from a stunter... but not "abusing" the bike either, that was my point. To be honest I was a COMPLETE jackass in MY opinon on the street, even though I was a "square" by some guys standards, and that is why I moved to the track I rode 3 mile wheelies when I was going straight long enough, and no cars where around, and I went too fast thru corners when they presented themselves. Some of us eventually grow up......... at least a little bit
Then again if I still owned the bike that picture could have been taken last summer. I cut the hair in '85 and again last August. Donated the hair to Locks of Love.
Update.........I love it! No regrets. After 3 days i'm not sore, the Brembo's and pads are snugged up, it steers "better" or I have a better understanding of how to steer it and Im honing my "Jesse" slouched, carefree, I dont give a fuck about anything look while I ride. Seriously, get one.
