Fired it for the first time today with PDX1 rounds.
Extremely predictable spread/grouping at 10-15-20 ft distances.
Complete devastation at any short distance. At 12-15 ft the loads blew through
.125 aluminum sheet leaving a 5" or fist sized dent with a 2" diameter hole in the center of that from the 3 copper discs. The 8 BB's dented the aluminum badly but did not pierce.
More than I expected, I'm pleased. It's a shotgun for your pocket.

Want one bad but can't get over the price tag...

    Those rounds look pretty gnarly.

    Dave K DaveK über alles!

What does that go for? The S&W Governor is running around $760 retail.

    Considerably less if I recall.

I like that Raging Judge Magnum. It's pretty cool. I have a bit of an issue buying a Taurus, but still, it would be the ultimate Jeep gun.

    Polymer frame. Shotgun kick.
Very purpose built gun. Massive tissue damage along with bone fragmentation.
    Not a plinker.

I always thought it was a "nifty" gun, but seems to be a solution looking for a problem. I cant find a practical reason to have it, other than it being nifty.

    Carry? Too big and bulky.
Protection/backup while hunting? There are better guns for that by far.
Truck gun? Sure, but I dont leave guns in my truck unatended, so it becomes a burdon
Home protection? Proper short shotgun is better IMO.
    Target? Not hardly.

If I had extra income burning a hole in pockets I would buy one, but I cant figure out WHY?

    Critter/woods-people protection when camping.

That's the only reason why I'm considering one. That and for my vehicle... I leave that shit in the Jeep. :D

.454 casull is a fun round. A friend of a friend has the Ruger Alaskan or whatever snubby .454 casull. Shot it first with .45lc and was amazed how sweet it shot with the weight of the pistol. Then put the big rounds in and BABOOMMMM!!!! Hand canon
