London, England, average rainfall per annum 23". London, Kentucky, average rainfall per annum 47". ps. Seattle gets 37".
What you left out is that Seattle's rainfall ~rate~ is much lower than elsewhere. So the # of hrs/days per year when rainfall is active is very high. Hence why they have the highest suicide rate in the country.
We've got 5 below and a little breeze. Skipping my walk this morning. Do have 2 friends meeting up at 7:30 to go snowmobiling, I'm going tomorrow instead, supposed to warm up to 25.
An inch of snow — MAYBE — and it’s been deep frozen and may as well be concrete. Good year for ice fishing, though (so I hear, I don’t drink, soooo. )
He's only 10 minutes from Canuckastania, pretty far north, cold and snowy AF during a"normalwinter" which is what we're having this year.
Seems f%^ked up to me that New Orleans has more snow on the ground than I do here in southern Ontario. All of the lake effect squalls have missed my place by about 5 miles this year. We are cold though. Started the morning around -8f. Have managed to put on a bunch of miles on the snowmobile. 830 miles on the new sled so far.
Its Feb 2 in E Iowa. Its going to be 52 degrees today. Motorcycles have been out on the street this last week. I haven't used my snow blower this winter at all. I think I wont need it at all.
