I would bet/assume Redding's comments in that article are a mixture of hopeful and persuasive toward BMW to secure another satellite team that Scott can ride on, but if there is no BMW satellite team for him to race with, I would hope he didn't opt for a contract without an escape clause. I would also assume if BMW haven't released him, they're actively working toward getting that satellite team.

GG pretty much had Scott’s number this year. Not sure I see why he’s in the conversation being under contract and if he goes anywhere, it’s probably l BSB.

There were rumblings a few times on the podcasts regarding a potential Superbike run with Honda in 25. Would be great to see Gillam get that deserved ride!

Gillim has a Superbike. I assume they're going to further develop it for next year.

I see CP45 staying with Attack. He showed promise in multiple rounds that ended in mechanical failures, cant blame him for that. He also won 3 Races, and i believe podiumed a few others (cant remember every podium of every race).

Wrench/ADR I thought announced they're out? Bobby kept it up front, put him on the 2nd Attack seat.

This is the plan for him in 2025. Kramer cup.

I’m not sure how well AssJuice racing will do in the marketing side of things!!! So we may just stick with Ian Fraley Racing. With support from assjuice.:crackup:

I think the preferred nomenclature three days is "powered by Ass Juice"

Since we are just spit balling, speculating and making shit up, here is what I think should happen.
I think all of the current SBK guys should stay put for another year. I think ADR can find a new sponsor and keep Bobby along with Scholtz. Yamaha should step up and make it happen.
Yamaha needs to get the R9 happening in Supersport with Fat Chuck's team with Blake and Dominic. M4 and Rahal need to stand pat with who they have.
Yamaha needs to put in a serious effort with Hooligans with Hayes and somebody young on the MT09. I would look at Gus Rodio for the second seat. Yamaha owes Hayes more than they can ever pay and having him in Hooligans would give him and them a bunch more wins.
I know Mesa seems to have an association with Kawasaki, but he needs a better ride. Tytler's is a Ducati dealer, so maybe Mesa should be on one of those.
Honda needs to get their thumb out of their ass and get Gillim and Yates on real Superbikes.
Vance and Hines should get Rocco on a GSXR 750 in Supersport and out of twins and put somebody else on the twins bike since they have it. I would vote for Avery Dreher as I think he has huge potential.

Mesa had a deal put together for '24 with 2 Ducs and some personal sponsorship, but the deal fell apart at the last minute between Tytler's and the other sponsors. So putting him back on the Kawi was somewhat last minute. Tytler's has really come through for him in the last few years, I believe he could be a championship contender on one of the Next Gen bikes.

I was hopeful that Yamaha would come out with a full support program for the R9, so that the multiple teams running Yamahas (Giaccmoto, Strack, N2 dare I say Attack?) could come out swinging on the new platform. But since we haven't even seen a bike yet I'm not hopeful.

Testing for the 200 starts in 2 weeks!

The R9 gets released to the public next week so if history repeats itself, that means the bikes are already in the US, companies have had them for a while to do R&D on them, and the moratorium on testing them in public will be lifted.

In theory that would help teams like Attack if they were gonna run them, but agree that smaller teams, club racers, etc... will still have to wait for the bikes to show up on dealer floors - but with Yamaha releasing the new R1 mid-season, maybe they have the R9 ready to go as well and they'll be here soon?

    Wishful thinking maybe...

At 37 years old. Your suggesting yet another "old" man taking a young man's possible progress.

    But who would it be?

Save for a few random races. none of the young guns could run with the “old guys” of PJ and Scholtz. At a lot of tracks they were finishing 20” behind those two. Same deal when Herrin and Xavi were in Supersport.

Not sure if people are underestimating how fast real Superbike riders are or what, but when have people like JD and Baz being “mid pack” Superbike riders, I think it speaks to just how fast you have to be, especially when PJ and Matt are probably about as fast as those two are.

A lot of good vibes on GGPodcast today. The head of Honda US and some top brass from Japan were at NJ this weekend. Sounds like Blake Davis has something interesting to announce soon along with Ty Scott. I really REALLY hope Vance and Hines step up with a SS or dare I dream, Superbike program for Rocco and Gillam. Rocco has won in every category. What a great lineup that would be.

That would be awesome...and a great teammate for Rocco to learn from as well. I wish I hit the lotto, I'd fund that in a hearbeat.

Exactly, if I own a team, I want the best possible chance to win. Some new kid probably isn't doing that in the SBK class. However that 37 year old very likely could.

If you've been watching the ask a sbk genius show with any regularity you've heard Stanboli mention Rocco several times. I have to agree with him. Rocco is 19, he's healthy, and he's proven he can adapt to a new bike. He is ready to move up, at the very least sstk 1000 but I wouldnt hesitate to put him on a superbike.

He's matured a bit. Hopefully he gets a good shot. That last bagger race was insane.

Aside from his apparent temper tantrums throwing his hands up and spazzing out at other riders and erratic riding....

Never go full Rocco. Only 1/2 or 3/4 Rocco

Those things happen when you have a passion to win and emotions are high in the moment. I'd much rather have that than a guy who you can't tell if he finished 1st or 15th.
