What do you envision the discount for MA teams on parts to be? Gray Area KTM has wheel sets on sale right now and in stock 115 bucks less than the Kramer USA site. Might just pull the trigger on those since they are in stock... unless they will be not legal for some reason...

Parts list is up and that’s great. Hard to buy parts for the bike when everything says “out of stock”.
Also, is it normal for prices to seem on the higher end for parts? Is it due to it being a new build and having to outsource things? Just curious on how a windscreen cost $200.00? I get it, racers can’t complain about prices, more of just trying to understand where the price comes from. I’m gonna pay what I need to pay to race so don’t take that question the wrong way.
lol go look up Graves Parts for R6. actually, just look up a seat foam. not that $200 isn’t expensive, but I’d guess the main reason is comparing to say an R6, zero gravity, puig, or whoever makes and sells 1000 to maybe 1 Krämer so I’d asssume only only supplier and let’s be honest, they probably need to make a total of 250 for the year and they probably sell that many r6 in a month.
Agreed. I’m sure the tooling or whatever is needed to make it all had to be redesigned/ designed and that cost has to be covered somewhere. year 1 of a new project is never going to be cheap.
We're going to do 10% on parts that are ordered before the season starts and paid for with the bike payment. I am told that I will have prices on all spares by Wednesday, but for KTM part numbers we will charge whatever MSRP dealers are doing on those items. With the wheels from KTM dealers, you will still need Krämer wheel spacers to make them bolt-up. Tell Paxton at Grey Area that I said hi. He's a good dude, and they are a great dealer for us.
@cota.kitty How is the status of the bikes and parts coming? Seems like the communication was quick in the beginning and as crunch time approaches its been really quite from all parties involved. Some of us are looking to figure out strategies on getting the bikes picked and at least test before the first round. Just curious if there is any updates?
I also sent out a lengthy email mid-December. I’m not sure how much of an update people are expecting during the holiday break, when the factory and offices are closed.
Speaking as a parent who used to take his kid racing, I think there is an extra level of anxiety on top of the usual race season planning. It's quite a commitment for a family to make, and some reassurance that things are going to schedule would surely be welcome.
Is the email with the way to pay the installment that is due Jan 15th? I don't know that any one was expecting an update. I guess I was hoping that the closer we got we would be kept up to date on the progress of time frame along with the update of availability to purchase parts. I was looking to maybe grab a set of body work to get some color and logos on it so that is one less thing we need to check off the list. If it is a tight and quick turn around from getting the bike at the end of feb from you, then getting seat time, to being ready to be at the tire test at the 3rd week of march, to then show up to cota prepared. So this is what it is looking like Bike ready for pick up end of February Have to pick up bike in North Dakota. which is a 20 hour one way trip for me back another 20 hr home Tire test week of march 17th to the 21st some where in Texas we are told I cant remember if it is set yet where Round 1 cota last weekend of march round 2 the following weekend at barber. So we got plenty of time to get this all lined up But we get it, this is racing. It has always been hurry up and wait.
Yea I’m also trying to sort logistics, in the midst of preparing other bikes/classes for Daytona. lol I want a goddamn tracking number, vin number, race number, and I want a pic of my bike in the crate! lol just kiddding, but I also am curious “are we on schedule” or behind, or ahead (lol I doubt it) Jensen, clearly you aren’t busy and you need to be spending more time in here with us idiots. I got too much time since we are waiting on frames and electrics for the 660 and just waiting on $$$ for the Hooliganism. still pretty cool to see/hear a CEO from a motorcycle company on here with the trash.
