Here is what just went out to the teams: Hello MotoAmerica Talent Cup Teams and Racers, With the new year, it means that we are one step closer to the start of the 2025 MotoAmerica Talent Cup season, and things are progressing rapidly. Please reach out to me if you have any questions regarding payments or parts orders. Production & Delivery We have closed the book on orders for the Krämer APX-350 MA, and the 2025 grid is looking very healthy — with 28 bikes for 25 MotoAmerica Talent Cup teams. I am also happy to report that production at our factory in Germany remains on-schedule, and is unaffected by KTM’s bankruptcy proceedings. The first Krämer APX-350 MA bikes are scheduled to rolloff the assembly line the first week of February. The factory will be making shipments every other day, via plane, from Germany to the United States in order to minimize delays. While the transit time is typically one or two days, there can be delays at the Munich airport to get on a plane, and there can be delays at the delivery airport because of US Customs. These factors are out of our control, and can add 7-10 days to the process. Krämer Motorcycles USA will have several trucks and vans making deliveries to teams non-stop during the delivery window, in order to get these bikes to you as quickly as possible. Teams that want to arrange pick-up at our Fargo, North Dakota facility are welcomed to do so as well. We will email you when your bike has arrived in the United States and is ready for delivery. Final payment for the ordered bikes and parts must be completed before we will deliver your bike(s) and spare parts orders. We will send you a final invoice once we have your completed spare parts orders. Pre-Season Testing MotoAmerica plans to host a pre-season test for all Talent Cup entrants on March 17th & 18th at the Motorsport Ranch in Cresson, Texas. More details on that event should be coming from MotoAmerica soon. Krämer Motorcycles USA will be on-hand to support this event. Any teams that would like their bikes and parts delivered to them at the pre-season test can do so, though space in our trailer is limited and first-come, first-served. REV’IT! & KYT Helmet Offers for Talent Cup Racers For the 2025 season, Krämer Motorcycles USA has partnered with REV’IT! Sport & KYT Helmets to offer Talent Cup racers gear at a special discount. 28 bikes!? If 2/3 show up to every round, I think we'll have quite a season for the talent cup Pretty cool that they can deliver some of the bikes to the test. I'm not saying that's gonna put a huge dent in the logistics of getting these bikes in the hands of the teams, but it sounds like a pretty solid plan for someone who needs it.
Like I said in the email, everyone at Krämer is committed to making this series a success. We’re a tiny little brand, so this is a big deal for us.
You've been very interesting and exciting to watch. Having been involved with helping with securing the right to import Bimota's long, long ago into North America, I recognize some of the uniqueness that you bring to the marketplace. Mostly, Bimota's and Kramer's are outside of my budget, but it Kramer similarly maintains a dream status to my hopes and seeking of fun. Maybe the ex-MA bikes are where I'll find a different home for my racing needs. I appreciate the work you're doing!
@cota.kitty I completely understand how you all have your hands full getting this exciting new venture going. Yet you have an ongoing business to run all while you work on this project. My question is are you planning to move forward with your other projects in the pipeline, including offering this or similar APX-350 bikes for sale to customers not competing in the MA Talent Cup? I think everything you've been doing is great and I for one wish to see you thrive and profit so you can continue business well into the future.
So, how about another 350 production run later this year, after you've learned a bunch from the Talent Cup bikes?
We'll have some announcements for the APX line for our non-MotoAmerica customers soon, with an "R" spec model later this year. Someone wanting an "MA" model can always place an order for one.
After seeing the bike up close, I am awwwwwfully tempted to put my CBR600RR out to pasture in favor of one of the R's.
We've got some great second-hand bikes available right now, especially EVO2's. I could probably find a nice GP2 for you as well. Have your people talk to my people.
I forgot to mention it to Joe in our meeting just now Beyond tempted to pick up an EVO2 for CVMA, maybe after we wrap MotoAmerica 2025.
I wouldn't wait. We are not going to get enough EVO2's this year for our typical demand on the bike. We have two very good used models in inventory right now, that Joe priced way too cheap. I don't see them lasting long, and 9 months from now, you and I are going to have a conversation about how you should have bought one of them, because we ran out of EVO2's somewhere in July. But hey, no pressure.
