You and I have different levels of comfort with the "what could happen" is all.
Prior to the changes in the Trust process where the ATF validates, I would have agreed with how you stated to change trustees/beneficiaries.

That's a bit of the issue these days is finding what you want in stock somewhere. I've been waiting on a Dead Air Primal for my Marlin Dark 45-70. Finally came in and submitted last week on a Form 4 (my trust, not the SS one shot or anything). Hopeing to get the approval within 4-6 weeks and I'd be happy. While I was at it, ordered a NoMax33 and a Lazarus 6 as well that all came in (and a Wolfman but it's still backordered).

Need to get another 22lr can this summer and maybe another 5.56 can. and then a ti smaller 30 cal can (Nomad XC Ti). I feel like the "Dude, where's my car" drive thru. "And then.... ". :)

Revolvers are fun. My first pistol was a Colt Peacemaker 22lr that I also had the 22mag cylinder. Have loved single actions since then. Only have 1 Colt (2nd gen nickel 357, would love to have a match for it). Kinda went overboard on SAA clones. Set of AWA 45's in case I want to do some cowboy action shooting, an EMF 32-20, a set of Cimarron Thunderer birdsheads (357 and 45), a Bearcat, Ruger Superblackhawk 44mags, etc. Sold most of the double action ones I had.

I found 2 that I was interested in. The main one I want is available thankfully and cheaper too. The other one is backordered.

Me and My Lady went to the range to day. I had some new dots to sight in. I generally start at 5 yards to get on the paper to see where it’s at…then walk zero out to 10. I use
splatterburst targets with 3 inch bullsyes.

Got my Staccato C2 slide back from Vulcan Machine Works. The C2 wasn’t optic ready, so I had them mill it for a Holosun 509T direct mount and redo the DLC coating.
Took a while…but the work was excellent. The 509 dropped right on like a hand into a glove. The DLC from them is a bit more of a satin finish than the OEM DLC from Staccato. I see no flaws though. Would recommend them, and would send more work to them if it was needed own the road.

Anyway…the 509 dropped right in as stated, and zeroing it wasn’t much of a chore…a few finer adjustments and that thing was pretty dead on at 10 yards.

My indoor range is going to be hosting indoor 2 gun matches starting in Jan and I wasn’t happy with my optic on my PCC, so I got an OPMOD Holosun 510C. Optics Planet had them for under $300 during the Black Friday deals. So I grabbed one. Didnt’ take me long and that one was also at 10 yards dead on zero. It’s got a great big wide field of view so gettting on target and followup shots next match are probably going to vastly improved.

Denise tried the Atlas Ares for the first time today too. Except for two that flew a little low, all A Zones. Her first shot was dead center.

Well apparently my holiday spending wasn’t quite done. Snagged a FN Reflex MRD & a Leupold DPP yesterday.

Then last night caught a KAC SR-15 16” complete rifle actually on sale for retail with no tax to TN. Ended up just shy of $3K OTD (well plus the transfer fee when it arrives). No idea what I’m gonna do with it. Had no need for it. Don’t have an optic or any other attachments as I had been moving stuff around to complete current builds before buying anymore new guns. So it’ll honestly probably live in the safe for a few months while I continue down that path, especially because my p&w SCAR 17 barrel should be back in my hands in the next couple days and I’m super pumped about finishing that build.

And so much for starting a mk12 project next. That’s what I was eyeballing next as thoroughbred armament had a coupon to bring their mk12 preorders down to $~$1600 OTD and 2AF has a used Leupold VX-5HD 2-10 for $700 that was gonna go really nicely on one. Someone else should jump on that… lol literally had the stuff in my cart when I saw the SR-15 was in stock.

Also if anyone has a lead on an ARMS #016 (preferable) or a #02, I’d appreciate it. Have a surplus aimpoint M2 on the way that I intend to throw on top of my carry handle m4 build but the mounts are a mother fucker to find.

Reps with the TX-22 over the last few weeks have really paid off; finished 1st in class at last weekend’s indoor match. Only hit one innocent, and only missed two hits all night.

Boom; head shot (on the innocent).

I didn't know you could shoot these types of matches with 22lr, is this a local outlaw match? I have a Sig P322 that I think would be fun to run in a match. Been thinking about Steel Challenge with it some time.

I shot another local USPSA match last night and was 9/51 overall and 5/20 in carry optics. 33As, 9Cs 0D, 0M, 0NS

I recently obtained the ACE VR https://acexr.com/
virtual reality trainer and it has been helping a ton with dot acquisition and transitions. I was afraid to push for speed last night because I was worried the VR trainer made me over confident, but upon reflection iI feel I that I left a lot of speed on the table last night.

Speaking of microwaved gunz, GLOCK branded GLOCKs can now be had for over $1k. I hope they end up on the GSSF discount problem. Paying that much for one of Gaston’s boom sticks seems, well, unreasonable. :D

I’m eating lunch, so here it is.

Sig recalled a sight for some nefarious reason. As in, whose kids are playing with their guns and eating the red dot batteries when they fall out? EOTech was kind enough to “like” that post, BTW.

It’s like all you fuckers are on IG.

I finally broke down and bought my first Staccato. I got the "C". It has the optional cuts in the slide, and i put a QVO Tac magwell extension on it. It's a sweet pistol. So far i like it a lot. I have a Wilson EDCx9 that's a few years old. Think i even like the Staccato more which surprised me.
Pretty easy to conceal too with a Ronin holster. So far 10/10
