When JEEP owners get together!

 

Well I traded in my silver mall crawling stupid minivan Rubicon and picked up this new virtue signaling (I'm outdoorsy) Rubicon. Before I do anything to the jeep I'm gonna a new Patagonia puffy vest to match the blue.

My first thought is: well ya, BLUE is much better looking than silver, but that might piss of @Venom51 So we need pics of the one that you unloaded to make an informed decision.

Do you know what's weird? A younger Venom hated silver cars. Now I seem to be drawn to cars that look their best in silver.

 

A younger Venom liked white wheels too, how about now?

Still do. On bikes. Not so much on cars unless they really suit the look of a particular model.

I know nothing about jeeps, so I just like the color better. It looks like the old one has a removable roof, does the new one? I know the doors are removable.

 

Top is fully removable, has two panels over the front seats that pop off, then you unbolt the rear section with 4 bolts on either side. Have two 16yr olds lift one side while you lift the other. Then drop on toes. Really that simple.

 

I found the freedom panels to be a PITA and replaced with this. Full disclosure, I also live in the NE where the weather is much more variable (read: likely to rain) than in Arizona.

I miss my two door JK Sahara. Was decent as a daily driver and fun off road.
