Thieves like stealing those ugly-assed primer colors because they are easy to paint to look nice and flip for a profit.

One of those mysteries of the universe.
A buddy of mine just ordered an F250 and was all excited to show me the color. I said, "do you get a discount with that so you can pay a shop to give it a color coat?".
    He wasn't amused.

  12. A guy that works for me lives in the UK and has an RS-4. They also struggled with chip issues and when he placed his order he was told he can have it in 6 months if he gets it without the sunroof, or it could be over a year. He went without the sunroof.

He says it is a great car and a lot of fun to drive. Im surprised they haven't been offered in the US.

    well that was short lived:

Audi's official comment to us was abundantly clear: "There are no plans to bring the RS4 Avant to the US market." .

I thought I saw they're bringing in the R6 wagon...

They did two years of the RS6 and it looks like they are doing A6 wagons as of last year. Not a lot of either of them though.

UK? Did he ask "What's a sunroof?" :D

I can't stand the idea that it's difficult, if not downright impossible, to find an upper trim level without that stupid, heavy, complicated BS sunroof which, in my experience, never gets used.
Panaramic roof is even worse. WHY? What fucking purpose can it possibly serve for the driver? The driver is the only person that matters in a vehicle. Everyone else's comfort revolves around the driver. No features that do not take the driver into consideration should even be imagined.
Have manufacturers not seen the new Ford Explorer Men's Edition? WHY ISN'T THAT THE STANDARD TRIM LEVEL?

    :D

My local dealer still had RS6 units inbound in the middle of 2022. They were listing them as coming soon for around $125K. Definitely out of the price range for a kid hauler in our house (hell, i'm still driving the same dodge truck i bought 20 years ago!).
