gawddamit papa, I've made so much progress on my alone journey for the past 6 months and now you gotta ruin all my hard work by bringing her up again.

 

You are looking at this the wrong way. As a married man, you shamefully hang out outside Rossi's home, hoping to be invited in catch a glimpse of him going in or out. Now you're single, you have plenty of free time, Shakira is single, and you don't see this as an opportunity for some light stalking?

 

Maybe Toe can use his connections to get motion a job with the backstage crew.
The possibilities are endless.

A few decades ago, or more, I was bouncing around The Yucatán and heard/saw Shakira for the first time. She was unknown outside of the Latin American Music scene and just getting going there. She was playing with a string quartet and a middle eastern section of instruments that I couldn’t name. She sang some verses in Arabic and the rest in Spanish. She had on a flowing sheer lower attire a bare midriff and even wore the little finger symbols/tambourine things that belly dancers wear. Her voice was incredible and her moves hypnotic as she blended her cultural spectrum into art that was spectacular. She’s half Columbian and Lebanese iirc. Her mtv Latin unplugged album is really good and like that performance decades ago.

I listened to and enjoyed her music right up until she sang in English and it turned into pure shit... but muted I guess it’s ok

 

I never knew Lebanese could look so good, when you grow up watching this....

 

Eewwww... glad I was too young to understand all the “mash” jokes and innuendos when it was on everyday in the 70s/80s
