The last regular season weekend, and things are still tight.

The Bird and I get a weekend to stare at other peoples score and trying to figure out the seeding and who we want to win so we can play the best matchup for us.

Well, if I did nothing else, I've surely confused the playoff story.

 

You brought it upon yourself by saying you wanted to beat me last time. Anyway, it's not over yet. You will probably get a third shot in the losers' ranking tournament. With my luck, that's the one I'm going to lose to you.

I strongly encourage you to wait another week before trying to make improvements. I think I am playing you next week, and Mongo is playing Triumph.

 

Well shit, I finished the regular season in ninth place, so I'm the one who plays Triumph.

Anyone who finished behind me should be embarrassed.

I'm not sure if it's a sign of parity in our league or mediocrity, but I think this is the tightest I've ever seen the final standings heading into the playoffs.

 

That seems to happen every year, no matter what some fools think they are predicting weeks early.

 

You scored more points than me and missed the playoffs. A lot of people complain about fantasy luck, but you have a pretty strong case.

 

You may have the biggest body of work but I vote Sprinky for the biggest single heartbreak. Drum someone by 69 points in the final week, have the same record as them, and watch them back into the playoffs while you sit outside. That's rough.
