    https://www.zerohedge.com/health/how-china-rigging-number-coronavirus-infections

"As reported by local media this morning, the Chinese National Health Commission quietly changed its definition of Coronavirus "confirmed case" in the latest guideline dated 7/2. As a result, going forward patients who tested positive for the virus but have no symptoms will no longer be regarded as confirmed. As Alex Lam observes, "this inevitably will lower the numbers.""

This is in direct contravention to how the WHO classifies coronavirus infection.

Long story short, as we've already known.....China's official numbers are horseshyt and utterly useless.

Over 1000 confirmed deaths so far.......and that's just what the "public" information says......

CDC Interim Clinical Guidance Patients should be held in Airborne Infection Isolation Rooms, 23-32% require ICU, and 17-29% develop Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome.

Things are still getting worse despite attempts of propaganda.

As mentioned, China is far more concerned with trying to control the narrative than they are at trying to control the virus.....even though they are doing some rigorous/violent stuff to control it.

Over 60,000 confirmed cases and over 1,300 confirmed deaths form this now, wasn't it just over 1,000 yesterday? Wonder what it'll be tomorrow.....

Not really much of anything useful can be gleaned from the imaginary numbers that China continues to release to the public. It's just a nebulous value that we now know doesn't have any real bearing on the actual situation there.

I've quit bothering listening to/looking at the Johns Hopkins heat map numbers since they are meaningless. The only thing I'm keeping my eyes on is if there are any fatalities from this virus to any non-Asian folks. Thus far it appears that it has not killed a single person who is not of Asian decent. I mean understandable the the majority would be Asian since the epicenter of the virus is mainland China, but its now spread to 30-something countries and its still ONLY killed Asians, even the regular seasonal flu is not that kind of "targeted"...that in and of itself is a bit of an eyebrow raiser. o_O

I agree that the "truthfulness" is suspect, but it's all we have at the moment.
So far only 2 confirmed deaths outside of mainland China, 1 in Hong Kong and 1 in the Philippines.

I heard 40k/1100 earlier today. 60k/1300 is a significant decrease in mortality.

Yup, and both of those folks were still of Asian decent. Even the "first American citizen" who died from the virus in Wuhan.....was Chinese. When white folks start dropping dead from this, then I guess I'll put my tin foil hat away.

China is SEVERELY under reporting the numbers. There is zero doubt about it.

Millions of people quarantined, a massive hospital constructed in days, businesses declaring force majeure to break supply contracts, airlines canceling travel for months... the list goes on. These are actions of a pandemic.

Check out some of these photos of deserted cities across China, it's eerie: https://www.theatlantic.com/photo/2020/ ... ak/606064/

You dont potentially cripple your economy, effectively shut down your manufacturing for a month without some SERIOUS reasons...

1300 dead so far? Thats a drop in the bucket for a country like China...no...

What we're seeing is a guy in a full bomb dismantling gear running like crazy and yelling, "its a fire cracker boys, no need to panic...i just need to take a shit real bad...."

So far, even if the deaths are what they are being reported...the only reason they are so low is because the ICU treatment is still available. Seems that people who do survive require oxygen and ICU treatment....you think once this becomes a pandemic and millions of people are affected that level of treatment will be available? I bet that 2% "official" mortality rate skyrockets.

Just wanted to add.....N95 masks are only a small part of your overall PPE.

Since its transmitted through the mucus membrane, you have to also protect your eyes...

Best way to protect yourselves? Wash your hands often...and it doesnt even have to be a microbial soap, good old regular soap will do just fine. Wash often, that way the chance of you touching an infected surface then touching your nose/mouth/face drops.

Also, if you cant find N95 masks, step up to the N100 or even P100. Because nobody is googling and searching for P100 masks, they're usually left on the counter. P stands for oil resistance but have the same filtering power as the N masks....but, they're usually not a one time use, soyou have to step up to a reusable mask.
