The main issue here is the ice under the snow when we do get it (also in Canton right now ) If it starts tomorrow before the ground is cold it'll melt then when the sun drops it'll freeze - so we get snow over ice and that sucks no matter where you live.
Maybe it's gotten better. I always figured it got shipped on containers on the outside deck of the ship as skunked as it tasted.

Well, they are calling for maybe an inch around the DC area and shockingly, the forecasters are NOT going crazy. I am actually shocked at their calmness, as that is very unlike them, particularly for the first snow of the year.
At least you all get prepared for it. There's THREE (3) plows for all of metro PDX. THREE. And then we drive like Southern Californians in rain...
