How many pieces of pizza can you eat?

we had a blast cruising around Tuscany in the 944. but getting to that one AirBNB in Bologna was a bit tight.

 

Germans are pizza morons. Doughy like that crappy takeaway chain in your 'hood and usually made by Turks. Their frozen stuff usually has some stupid combo on it like leek and turnip.

They probably slather ketchup on it.

They do make a damn good gyro thing. Doner Kebab? Rotkraut makes it.

 

Yeah, most of the cities now have exclusion zones with limited access in the city centers (zona traffico limitato). I have no idea what people with cars do to reach their hotels, especially with large luggage. I don't drive cars in Italy any longer, but I used to just say F it and park near the hotel and deal with the tickets later. One of the reasons Italy is so much better on a moto!

 

There's only one thing that is as important to the Italians as good food : screwing the tourists. If you can manage to not get screwed, you can find some amazing food at decent prices.

Well,
My family and I (mostly the wife and kids), did make homemade pizza last night again!

We even make the dough- it's easy - 2 ingredients:
Self rising flour,
and plain Greek yogurt!

Sauce, cheese, toppings to taste.

I ate the Canadian Bacon/fresh pineapple side!

I had 4 pieces last night.
About to have more I brought leftovers to work!

6 pieces, but the timing is key. 4 right away, and two more after my wife eats her 2. She never eats more than 2, but I always need to wait, LOL.

As far as Italian pizza, the most memorable was sitting outside at a cafe in the big Renaissance-era square in Siena, in Tuscany, where they have that horse race every year. Pretty cool surroundings. Ate the whole darned Margharita pizza, but those are small and thin. Really, really good— just nothing like a typical American pizza.

When I was in high school I had the dream job, driving a pizza delivery truck. All the pizza I could eat. Not bad.

 

What if you go to Italy as a tourist looking to screw a hot Italian model?
