We had black cars (never totally on purpose, just happened) for like 15 years and maybe 4 or 5 vehicles. Just got old. Went with red, blue then silver and now a pearl white. I don’t know, I’d try the gray but then again, Porsches do look awesome in black. so, my answer is whichever, I don’t know.
I'd rather not have a car painted the same color as a 1952 Bridgeport, so between those 2, Black it is...
Does it come with white wheels? Seriously, how crap are those yellow calipers going to look after a couple of trips in the rain? You'll have to buy a new car 'cos they'll never look clean again.
It’s because that color looks different depending on how the light hits it. For example, it looks almost blue here. All 3 are the same color, just different lighting.
I love black cars. I also hate black cars. They don't stay clean for long and look dirty very quickly, like 5 minutes after you wash it. This grey doesn't look like the Nardo Grey that's been popular from Audi and on everything including minivans. Looks to have a little pearlesque color to it. Also yellow calipers are a must. Real Porsche folks will want the yellow.
BLACK! As others have said the gray is a fad that will look really dated a few years down the road. That neon blue was huge a few years ago and everything from a 20k to an 80k car had it. Now it’s has been. Black on sports cars hold it’s value. Definitely do something about the yellow calibers no matter which color you go with.
It should run as well and long and reliably as a 1952 Bridgeport. I kinda like the gray, but I'm not buying the car. <shrug>
whatever color you need to wrap it like this. Those Gulf Oil Porsches from back in the day look great.
If I had your money, I'd get both. If they offered more than black or gray, I'd get one of each color.
Most of my life I didn’t like that combo but now it’s grown on me from a nostalgic point of view. I had the slot car when I was a kid.
