Yeah, Germany is a ball of fun. Can't mow your lawn on sunday because of noice ordinances, can't go to the packy on Sunday because they're closed because of the laws, can't cut down a tree without a license, can't take a dump at rest stop for free (it costs € 0.80 to sit down). That's just some of the petty laws and regs they have. There's the tax rate, the testing regs to produce and sell something and the costs to get something as simple as a drivers license (costs upwards of € 2000).

Efficent and quite nice but so full of laws, regs and hassles that you can't even shit for free.

 

Bernie isn't trying to take away your lawn mowing, tree cutting, or pooping rights. BTW, I remember paying to poop at the Jersey Shore during the Reagan years.

 

He may be aiming for your ability to?

 

Not so much anymore. You hear more English, Chinese, turkish and Indian (I'll just lump them all together for now) than you hear German. Then there's spanish, polish, russian and a ton of eastern european languages. For f@cks sake, the mexicans are going there to open mexican restaurants and the germans love it.

I does not work. Equality exist only at the lowest levels where all but those trusted to ensure the equality live.

Peoples unwillingness to listen to the man doesn't constitute failure on my part.
