Please tell me you don't actually believe what a career politician is spouting he wants to do during an election cycle. Remember all that shit Obama said he was going to do before he was elected, putting Americans back to work, shovel ready jobs, keeping your insurance, etc. I know youre not that gullible.

I don't think comparing him to the recent spending examples is a good idea. I for one am desirous of a fed govt beholding to the states and who is reduced to minimal functions and spending. A government that has the beurocracy eliminated and accountability reimplemented. This is so far from a "democratic socialist" they can't hardly fit in this post. The government, through lax controls, which is the result of the natural greed and avorice of the US citizens, has put us in this situation. Giving it more control and power is not what sounds like a reasonable solution. I am pretty sure two of the worst economies in Europe, Greek and Spain, are run by Democratic Socialists, as a point of reference.

Yes, we are broken, but don't hold up chains and try to sell them to me as freedom.

Remember, RF is cut from the same cloth that views Jon Stewart (a 50 year old multi millionaire) as one of the "normal" people. This is the same group of people who believe Hillary Clinton (a lifelong oligarch) is on their side. You know, morons.

I remember when Stewart was a suck ass bar tender at a rough and dangerous dump of a club in Joisey.

  11. That's precisely who I'm thinking of. I just became an uncle. I want my niece to have a good country to live in, where the average citizen has a good chance at a good life.

Why does being a career politician automatically mean someone is a bad politician? Our current mayor in Pittsburgh is doing a great job, and he's a career politician. Bernie's been "spouting" what he has since way before this election cycle, and what he says makes a lot of sense. Obama has done some good things and some bad things, but that has nothin to do with Bernie.

Nazi? Where's your citation about that? He's about as far from a nazi as you can get.

The best economy in Europe, Germany, is already doing a lot of what Bernie's talking about. So are the Scandanavian countries.

He's not trying to put anyone in chains. If you're one of the top 1% as far as wealth is concerned, I can see not wanting to vote for him, because the current system works best for you, especially if a good portion of your income comes from capital gains. Otherwise, Bernie truly has your best interests in mind.

You have me mischaracterized. I don't think Hillary is on my side. I just think she's better than anyone I listened to in the GOP debate. What the hell does Stewart have to do with anything? He's an entertainer and a comedian. He's not running.

Sorry, Bernie is a coward plain and simple.

His bowing down to the black lives thugs proved that to me.

He could have taken a firm stance and shown that he cared instead, 2 hoodrats interrupted him and took the stage. He backed down like a baby back bitch and retreated off stage.

I'm not interested I someone who would allow blatant disrespect especially by the group he thinks he's catering to.

And quite honestly, the simple fact that your certifiable ass supports him so hard assures me that he's the wrong candidate.

  14. They weren't actually from the BLM movement. Those idiots were actually former Palin supporters. :D I think he handled it well, and has actually gained support because of it. Not everyone needs to handle things like a Neanderthal (shout to XF). I wouldn't call him a coward. I just don't think he uses the "I'm gonna whine and whine until I win" strategy that your boy does. I've listened to what the Trumpster and the other GOP guys have to say, but I do understand that for you, opening your mind is a tough thing to do, so you won't even hear what Bernie has to say. You'll just go by what the media feed you. The way of a true puppet.

    We did, Puerto Rico.

  17. Germany is a good example of the kind of stuff Bernie wants to do.

Puerto Rico is that friend of your kid's that's always at your house, eating your food, making a mess... It feels like one of yours because you basically support them, but you just haven't adopted them.

But Greece is an example of what you are more likely to get. Germany is a mostly homogeneous population with common language, ethnicity and culture. Comparing them to any country with significant cultural and ethnic diversity is pointless.
