Dude you said you'd vote Hillary. That in itself says tons about you.

    I liked a local headline:

    "2016 Presidential: A Clown Against a Socialist"

  3. Yep. His goal is to create policy that allows for more decent paying jobs.

    I do. They're mainly elsewhere.

I said I would grudgingly vote for Hillary over Cruze, Trump, Bush, etc. I never said I'm a big fan of hers, or that I believe everything she says. You suck up all the bullshit and hypocrisy Trump spews.

    No sir.

Just because I think trump is our best choice, I don't suck him off like you do Bernie.

I wish Carson were just a little more refined in the business sense and back off the religion a touch and he'd be my #1.

As it stands, I think a "politician" is the last thing we need to improve our country.

Oh, and here is the Democratic Socialist platform, from the horses mouth.
    http://www.dsausa.org/where_we_stand

Here are some of the juicier bits.
"Free markets or private charity cannot provide adequate public goods and services."

"Simply put, the domination of the economy by privately-owned corporation is not the most rational and equitable way to govern our economic life."

    "Vision of a Socialist Economy
The operation of a democratic socialist economy is the subject of continuing debate within DSA. First it must mirror democratic socialism's commitment to institutional and social pluralism. Democratic, representative control over fiscal, monetary, and trade policy would enable citizens to have a voice in setting the basic framework of economic policy--what social investment is needed, who should own or control basic industries, and how they might be governed."

"But, the social ownership characteristic of a socialist society will greatly limit inequality. In fact, widespread worker and public ownership will greatly lessen the corrosive effect of capitalists markets on people's lives. Social need will outrank narrow profitability as the measure of success for our economic life."

So in a nutshell, the Democratic Socialists are nothing but regular socialists with an extra word added. They want industry out of the private hands, and into the "people's" hands. So tell me RFKA, how well do you actually think that will work? And according to Bernie, your job being an entertainer would have little social value. So you would lose your funding. The whole idea of socialists is founded on unicorns and dreams. The world is not a fair place, and greed is what built this damn country. Why do you think the USA grew to become the most powerful country in the world? It is because there was profit in it. There was profit in building a railroad system that connected the country. There was profit in building the electrical system that powers us. There was profit in building the automotive industry that moves us. There was profit in establishing the internet that we argue over. Profit creates industry. It is the idea that everyone is the same and deserves the same that is killing the country. We are not all the same. We are individuals. If you want more, become a better individual. Work harder, save smarter, read more. I don't want a handout from anyone, and I'll be damned if I would vote for anyone that is for redistribution of wealth or against the capitalist marketplace.

  7. I'm going by what Bernie says. He didn't say any of that. He doesn't want industry to be taken over by the government.

What someone says to get elected and what they believe, or do when the get into office are often very different. I offer the last several occupants of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave as evidence.

Yeah, and Hitler didn't want to annex Europe, but he found a reason to...

  11. The comparisons between Sanders and Hitler are hilarious.

Yea? What has he said that indicates he wants the government to take over private industries?

That is straight off of the Democratic Socialist platform. The one that he is running on. He can say all he wants, but this is their agenda. Sometimes you have to listen to what is said, and then look at the deeper meaning. In this case, you are taking a career politician at his word. That right there is a dangerous act.

The agenda of his supporters is just as crucial in the critical process as what Sander states.

  15. I think you were criticizing my English earlier, no? :D

He's running on his own platform, but they do support him.

If you take he hate part out of Hitler's speeches and writings you will find that he spoke a lot of the people being equal and that they should give for the greater social good. It isn't far off from what Bernie is preaching. And really not far off from the official platform of the Democratic Socialist party. So, no the comparisons are not really hilarious. They are actually quite accurate.

He is calling himself a Democratic Socialist. That right there should be enough to scare the crap out of EVERYONE.

  18. Come on man. Really? "If you take the hate out?" I suspect if you take the hate out of a lot of notorious villains, they're not that bad. The hate is what makes them bad.

Does Godwin say that Hitler may never be mentioned in any discussion ever again?

The fact that Bernie is beating the "racism is the reason that minorities are not making more money" without actually looking at the many of other factors is enough to make me think that he is an out of touch boob that will just cost the country more money without actually improving anything. A large part of his platform revolves around appeasing the victim class at the expense of everyone else.
