To you what Bernie is saying is the truth so you're assuming that no one has watchrf the video that you linked. How do you know that no one has watched it unless they say that they did not? There are a bunch of us that have probably watched more information about Bernie than you have. Some of us study the candidates and find out everything that we can about them.

To you Bernie was sent by God to save us and he must be given his chance to prove it. To many of the rest of us he is another person that, for whatever reason, thinks that this time he will make Socialism work in spite of the fact that no one else has ever been successful. That attitude either comes from pure ignorance/stupidity or he thinks everyone else is ignorant or stupid. Which is it?

  2. Ah yes, I'm the one on a high horse because I want people to listen to the man's actual words, and not just others characterization of him. Or could it be that calling someone an idiot, or criticizing how they make their living is actually indicative of riding a high horse? ;)

I don't hit shuffle on an iPod, but actually, Germany has a vibrant (real) techno scene, and have been innovative in electronic music, going back to the days of Kraftwerk. What do you do for a living, mr. High Horse?

If you have an problem with being called an idiot, stop acting like one. It's the first step to recovery.

  5. People here have admitted to not listening to him.

    I'm agnostic.

  6. There you go, riding your high horse again. What do you do for a living that's so much more noble than entertaining people?

In spite of what you're thinking concerning Germany, it is not a Democratic Socialist form of Government. It is classified as a Federal Republic. The Central Government is small and takes care of a few parts of governing while each state within the country controls most of it's own actions.

So the guy who is too closed minded to consider alternate viewpoints wants everyone to keep an open mind and listen. Curious.

Thanks for proving my point, again.

  10. Try again. I've listened to all the front running candidates, and my politics have changed over the years.

Yes, I've listened to his own words for a long time. He's an interesting guy and a lot of his ideas sound good in theory. It's the reality of his thinking that takes things off track. What he wants to do takes the wrong approach in solving a country's problems. Pick up on the little magic words that he uses. The one glaring one is "investment in infrastructure", or "investment in education." That is, and has always been, a word or phrase meaning "an increase in taxes." Bernie wants to provide free education to everyone which will cost the hell out of us. Hillary wants to do something similar except it doesn't go as far as Bernie.

In contrast, look at what Christi and a couple of the other conservative Governors have done within just the past ten years or so with their states. They have come into the Governors office facing deficits and high taxes then turned those states around by lowering many of the taxes which, in turn, encourages spending by businesses, which raises the economy, which increases the income to the state.

I've listened to Bernie to include the attached link...I simply don't believe him. I do not trust anyone that has been in politics that long...they are all beholden to someone.

I long for a good person to run for office. I could completely disagree with everything in their platform and still vote for them if I knew that they espoused: Duty, Honor, Country.

I thought the Obama shovel ready stimulus spending took care of that?

    Weird.

Screw em, and the tiny little horses they rode in on. :)

  15. That's a reasonable position, but who of the current front running candidates can you believe?

  16. Christi makes more sense than most of the GOP guys, but he loses me with his hawkishness. We've damaged ourselves too much by engaging in unnecessary wars.
