09 GSXR1000 cranks...fail..

    He mentions 230 km/h ~ 140 mph in about post 117. That's miles per hour in Foreignese. :D

    Watched his video and it looks like Brazil to me. The trucks and the sides of the road. There are speed limits there in places but I think they are purely advisory and optional. :D

    The reason I wouldn't go 140mph on a public road on a motorcycle has nothing to do with what the speed limit says or the legality of it.

    Thanks RM !!

    I thought the L2 crank would be the way to go, but since the whole bottom end seems to be redesigned then that's no longer an option.

    I'm still waiting to hear from the dealer which parts need to be replaced, if the whole engine is compromised then a L2 engine may be the best option.

    Yeah, they had triple axle trailers and the weird f-150 looking thing at the beginning. Still, pass up the opportunity to give a good ribbin'!
