It's actually funny to hear the French Eurosport commentators try to sound all American and shit and call him SPIZE. Ironically, if they went with the French pronunciation in the same way they butcher everybody else's name, they would get this one right.

Who thought the actual camera work left something to be desired? Putting aside focusing almost exclusively on the front runners, I thought there was too much "coming at you" footage, and not enough of side/rearish angles...anyone else?
Knowing how to ride doesn't necessarily means he understand how they work. He would not be the first champion to ride on pure instinct.
OBTW, when he was riding a Yamaha out of Shreveport, he understodd how it worked and what needed to change to go faster. I imagine he's learned a bit more since then.
