Based on the above, Mesa would have had to protest before the first practice started. So, being given some guidance to not protest after the races actually did save him his protest money. Having said that, this now gives time for the series to update the rulebook to include the V4R, and make it legal legal. And update anything else that needs updating before the next event. LOL
One would think with all the banter here and on social media about this there should at least be a podcast discussion or an official article from RRW to clear things up.
Pridmore liked the initial post and Rog was in the comments, maybe one of them will address it on their respective platforms
Bryce won a stock 1000 title didn't he? He had a rough weekend.. lost a chain, drug an engine case over a curb and exited the race..
Why wouldn't MA allow Herrin or Lewis ride in SSTK then but PJ is ok? What would Herrin have to gain publicly by lying about it?
There was a loophole, and it was exploited. What else would you expect from a Ducati team? But seriously, if you finished inside the top 10 in Superbike in 2018 or 2019, you aren't eligible to race in Stock1000. So that is why Josh Herrin and Jake Lewis aren't allowed in it. PJ doesn't meet that criteria, so there is nothing stopping him. https://americanmotorcyclist.com/wp...MotoAmerica-License-Eligibility-5-20-2020.pdf
But isn't he watching this forum? Plus he's probably watching someone who is watching Mesa's social media. I mean this thing has been all over this forum, facebook and instagram. I feel like at this point everyone in the US motorcycle racing community has seen or heard something about it lol
