Rumor has it... It's a go!
I hope, but won't believe it until RRW posts it!
Well, then it will be fact...
rumor with no source? boo
I've gotten no e-mail saying it's cancelled ... (yet). Governor Chicken Little hasn't backed down yet and our Supreme Court hasn't given him a slapdown either. I would think that call would have to come soon.
I've heard the same rumor.
Same here, hope it's true but still far enough out the state can screw things up
can we get a source for these rumors?
*asking for a friend
Nope, then we'd have to kill you You can trust me in that the rumors have a very good basis in reality but that doesn't change what may or may not happen with regard to state regs.
Governor Chicken Little has indicated he would prefer to not open before Sept., though he may have little input beyond this coming Mon.
Last week I heard they were considering running it w/o fans.
Yeah, that shit ain’t gonna fly with Midwesterners. Our summers are short as is.
I didn’t even think about that.
The latest Off Track seemed to hint heavily that RA is on. Good sign.
EAA cancelled early this week because they couldn't get a good feeling that Chicken Little would open things up. That is in late July. Don't know where people are getting their info from but I hope they are right. I just don't see the environment changing here in that time frame.
I’m assuming they’re running without spectators. Probably spacing pits out a ton.
I’m surprised we haven’t seen development of a respirator with a built-in voice amplifier for track use. Could be an option while testing is still limited. Maybe somebody’s working on it.
Well advanced tickets are still for sale on Road America’s website. Got mine ordered and I’m hoping for the best!
I am really tempted but so skeptical fans will be allowed. My family is dying to get out and RA is a great way to check off a lot of "get out" needs in one weekend.
My flights are booked!
