The place I get pizza from has 20" pies. If we're talking plain pizza, I'll tap-out after 5. If I get a something like a penne vodka pie, then 3 or 4.
Its just OK. Something a little off about pizza in that area. I've had some down the hill in Cattolica that weren't even edible. Total crapola.
Cattollica and the surrounding area is a budget tourist trap. Pretty much everything is cheap and low quality.
FWIW Papa Johns will cut both crust styles into squares if that's your thing. Boss prefers squares and thin, I prefer wedges and hand tossed.
We've got good but there's nothing wrong with Papa Johns either, the price is right and it's food for night when that's what you want/need. Found a local joint that does a garlic olive oil based pie the boss likes and they have a jerked chicken that is pretty damned good. What I really want is someone local doing actual real deep dish, not the thick crust crap the chains call deep dish.
There is no such thing as crap pizza. Least none that I have yet found and that include all the chains.
Last time I was in Miami Beach I ate a large by myself at Pizza Rustica on Lincoln Rd. Fkn great pizza that was.
There is crap pizza when you live in an area with local pizza joints to your left and right. Within a mile from my home I have at least 15 different options to choose from and I'm not counting the chains.
the damn caseys conveience gas stations here in illinois make pizza. its pizza, not bad not great. have eaten more than my share. 20 in. 3 pieces
