This would be much more fun if it were a bunch of Groms Seeing Kawi, Yamaha and Honda hot rod 300s may not suck totally though. The stickered headlights will be awesome
If KTM downsizes the 390 to a 300, and Suzuki gets 300 out and we have a real deal series, it could be rather interesting indeed. I don't imagine in a million years that that happens but I can dream.
they're creating parity by weight and dyno limits. it isn't strictly a "300" class. the initial technical bulletin is in the link. i'm pretty psyched about it, as i hope it'll standardize the production feeder classes worldwide.
Dyno limits sucks but maybe if they have a spec ecu it's doable. Overall it's about time they copied our class setup
Wow! I guess Honda wrote that rules package. Sure the CBR500 is a dog, but damn, that's a big displacement advantage for such a small category.
