If it's a choice between keeping my face or my man card, I'll keep my face. Something else I just remembered, I used to always wear a ball cap but those are not enough. The spots where I was having problems were on the outsides of my cheeks and the temple areas where a ball cap offers little to no protection.
I just don't understand how you guys wear ball caps. Don't they fall off your balls when you pull up your drawers? Oh, nevermind.
I work outside year round and always wear a military hat as well. Some of the others are thin material and sun eats them up. I also always wear long sleeve t's and pants. Guys on site think Im nuts but in august 10 hrs in the sun and you start to smell like bacon and that cant be good.
i got so burnt my first trackday that it hurt pretty badly to put on my helmet the second day... I also remember one day where I fell asleep in the bed of my truck at lunch with my leathers un-zipped and no shirt on under them. I woke up with a racing stripe. SPF infinity and a large hat are requirements for those of Irish descent...
