New (to me anyway) bike added to the stable this past weekend.

2002 I bought for $2400 back in the day. Off brand "Blue Flame" exhaust sounded good, looked cheap. Best front end feel ive ever experienced on a motorcycle. Sold it way too cheap to fund mini racing.

 

They aren't. That was my daughters last day of school, and she wanted me to pick her up. She was just small enough to sit on that 8"x12" seat.

 

I miss my big fat lady.

 

Stomp Grips shoukd be standard on an RC51 with that seat and tank combo. I was so proud I'd waxed, buffed and shined the fairings and tank before my first ride. Utter panic in the first hard braking zone as I found no knee traction. Inertia and that gas tank are not gentle lovers.

Kept searching and purchased a fairly clean almost stock 2006. 14k on the clock.

 

Had purchased a rashed up 2003 with plans to fix before I came across the 2006.

 

That black SP2 is a great looking bike.

 

Although I love the look of them, probably the most uncomfortable bike I have ever ridden on the street.
