New (to me anyway) bike added to the stable this past weekend.

Minty 03 RC51 with 13,400 miles on it. Mostly stock outside windscreen/braided brake lines/PC/pipes.

Was super stoked to find this one close to home. About 3hrs away.

That’s gonna be the bike I pay WAY too much for one day at an auction for absolutely no good reason

 

My wife was a bit confused.....

Her: "Don't you already have one of those?"
Me: "Yep....now we have two. If we're lucky, they'll mate and make more."
Her: "I'm going to get plants....lots of plants. Don't even think of saying anything when I get back."

My mother in law came over:
Her: "Cool looking bike Tyler. Kinda looks like your other one."
Me: "Yep, they're the same exact bike."
Her: "Just looks at me confused....well it's might nice."
Me: LOL

Nah, this one will remain pretty much stock. Have a line on a super mint full Akrapovic system, just not sure I want to drop the coin on it. Thinking about trying to polish up the stock pipes and putting those and my stock windscreen on it. Have a full stock bike.

That's my sons dream bike. Instead he's 8 large into a 1098 that doesn't run properly. Congrats.

 

Looks like a nice unmolested find! Have a good buddy that still rides his RC51 as much as possible. Quick bike.

That is a really sweet looking specemin! I really need to give mine some love. It just sits in the garage. I halfheartedly put it up for sale a couple years ago. Not as minty as yours by any stretch but I enjoyed flogging it around the track until it decided it had had enough of me at Nashville Superspeedway in 2010.
