Netflix. What to watch?

We’re late to the party, but we’re watching and loving “The Americans” on Hulu.

 

"The Woman In The Window" on Netflix, a pretty good Hitchcokesque thriller.

 

Recently saw the foot fetish radio talk show therapist episode of The Mentalist. Immediately thought about our own foot guy here.

 

Just finished watching Bodies. Good series.

 

I just finished A Man In Full.

Decent first season but the last 2 minutes of the last episode...

 

Watched Jackpot last night. Very decent. Entertaining. The outtakes got a bit raunchy at the end.

Finally watched The Pacific (retirement has its advantages). I had a couple "Uncles" that were in the Corps in the Pacific theater (both wounded). I now understand why they never talked about any of it until one of their sons was wounded in Afghanistan. They finally talked to him about some ofwhat they experienced. He shared just a bit with me. Damn.

 

We watched American Nightmare last week - short 3 episode docu-story that was pretty crazy. Hard to believe something like that is actually 100% true.... I still think there's more going on with the fed, though.

 

A Gentleman in Moscow. Damn good eight part series.

 

Just finished American Godfathers: The Five Families on History Channel. 3 2hr shows. Excellent watch if you’re into that kind of thing.

 

Watched The Offer recently. It’s a one season show about how they made the godfather movie. Really good.

Gary Goldman is great.

 

WTF. Went to watch a movie the other night on Netflix and all the sudden I am getting ads... Grrrrr.

 

But with ads it's only $5/mth now.

 

“Gangs of London”
It reminds me a Tarantino movie. IOW, it’s great!

 

Anyone post about "Kaos" yet? Modern take on Greek Gods, Jeff Goldblum as Zeus. It started good, got slow, but then ramped back up for the last three episodes of Season 1. Interesting, because its a deviation from the normal British murder mystery show my wife watches EVERY FREAKING NIGHT............

I said last night it would be cool if they do Roman Gods and then Viking Gods later........Kaos has a good soundtrack too.

 

Been binging Superstore on Peacock. It's a nice background show thus far

Yall see the new series on the Zodiac yet? Seems like they basically proved who it was with real old footage, and actual people (kids at the time) that were actually there when he did one of the crimes.

I think it was pretty well done overall, and of course Netflix is gonna add their entertainment value, but after watching that, I am convinced.

Anyways, if you are into true crime and murder, its GREAT around 2-4am on work/school nights.
