Well, first I heard about that was from you just now. They did end with a cliffhanger, so I thought it would have a second season........
The Day of the Jackal - wife and I watched the first 5 episodes and it's a great watch - kind of a mix of "The Americans" meets "Bond", meets "Mission Impossible". It's a remake of a book turned movie in '73 I believe...
Chimp Crazy on max on the other hand is ok if you want to see batshit crazy grown women. Thumbs down for me not my type of entertainment
Think that was already done with the Viking gods in The Almighty Johnsons. (Had to look it up. Done in the early 'teens.)
Hillbilly Elegy on Netflix. It’s the movie version of the memoir written by JD Vance (nothing political…it’s about his messed up upbringing).
Series on Netflix called Man on the Inside wife and I just watched we thought was good. Ted Danson's the lead, it's funny with a bit of sad reality thrown in. 8 episodes and with the ending there's going to be a second season.
Been watching THE HEIST. spanish production. A bit quirky, but well drawn. Bonus: they sling H&K‘s which tops the occasional nipple
Might have been mentioned already, but The Penguin on HBO (Max) was incredible. If Colin Farrell doesn't get at least a few awards for his role it is a crime. He is LOST in that character, and the show was icredible for it. You don't even need to be a Batman fan at all.....it just works on its own.
I'll have to give Penguin another try. The first episode seemed like the Sopranos and Tony as the main character, and was slow moving.
