I suppose I'm a more simplistic thinker: I'll pray for anyone asking for a prayer as it's not my place to decide which prayers get answered...I leave that to a higher power. Rh wasn't asking for sympathy he was asking for prayers for his family, you may have felt sympathy for him after reading his situation.

 

Actually, I can tell you for certain that he knows how much of an ass he is. There's no rationalizing going on here, he just spoke the truth.
