KTM's financial woes

The RXV’s were a Hoot! I rode one and it was nuts… made me buy a SXV only to blow up!

 

Actually Aprilia made a very very limited number of actual dirt bikes NOT street legal.

I remember you having one up on the mountain back when. You kept me from buying one out here! Found some deals,but don't trust those years. Then Saturday riding home,my neighbor had one in the back of his truck he just bought I guess he can be my guinea pig!

 

If someone would buy my damn F900XR I'd go get me one of them leftover '23 SDGT's post haste

Well, the fiscally responsible side of me prevailed... I was considering buying a leftover '23 Gasgas 700SM or a 1290 SDGT but even after the huge discounts (like 6k on the GT) it just seemed like a crazy amount of money. The OTD on the 700 was about $11,700 and the GT (that I really wanted) was pushing $18K by the time I added side cases and the tech pack. Then I was perusing ADVrider and came across just the thing to scratch my hooligan itch and get a taste of the orange kool-aid for cheap...


So much for my swearing to never buy another carbed bike. '07 950 SM with 12k miles

 

That's one of the best tight twisty road bikes ever created. If you wanted a newer candidate, that 890SMT is a damn weapon with heated grips and cruise control.

 

My SXV550 was both the best and worst bike I’ve ever owned.

 

Still waiting for the 'best' revised version to be released.
I doubt it will be a V twin though.

 

Allegedly the RC990 won't be arriving to dealers until December of this year... just in time for next year's riding season. I guess.

Yamaha is gonna have a banner year with the R9 if they can keep up w/ demand.

 

Rumor mills are swirling about aprilia reviving the RSV 1000 twin.

nothing remotely sporty about a Busa in 2025. Leader bikes with superchargers came to market a decade ago. Still makes me laugh when I see serious "roll racers" on bikes get clobbered by AWD hyper cars.
