I still have old version I bought, none subscription. It won't work on newer computers but I bought old computer on craigslist and is used for quickbooks only
I still use my old quickbooks to run my business on a newer (ish) computer. I have 2012 and 2013 for my two companies. I'm an old fart, that sold software, so I hate paying for the cloud stuff but will be forced to at some point. Quickbooks did screw me at some point and my 5 user license because a 3 user license on one of the upgrades.
I just did my part to help KTM . . . . 24 Superduke 1390 Evo on the way Not many left at this point. I'm nucking futs
I see Shiv’s Openflash software makes it an absolute monster that’s so much nicer to ride. You gonna opt in for that and get the full unadulterated 190rwhp and 108ft lbs?
We shall see. Going to ride it first and see how it feels. Already have the other farkles picked out for it.
Some impressive prices here, and the first place I've see with leftover new bikes back to 2020 https://www.cernics.com/--inventory?condition=new&make=ktm&pg=1&sz=50
They've got some weird pricing there... a 2019 1290 SDR (Gen2) is more than a 2023 1290 SDR Evo (Gen3) ... ?
How TF do they still have stuff that old?! Bad things is KTM doesn't rebate past a year prior so they are just eating that discount. Unless they warranty registered them at some point years ago and just never sold them. But that also means there's zero warranty left.
No doubt... reminds me of the late 80's/early 90's gluts in Honda showrooms. I bet they're one of those mega dealers who scoops up leftovers from other dealers in tough spots. If they had a 2020 collecting dust on their floor the whole time...someone fucked up.
The cam issues scare me enough to avoid the 790/890 models. It might be worth the gamble if you have a good dealer nearby, I don't. I'd stick with the 1290/1390, might take a chance on a 990 at that 10,500 price point.
'19 and '20 models were effected and good will repairs have been done by KTM on many of those but no actual warranty extensions that I'm aware of. What KTM has on offer now is 1 extra year of full warranty on all new '24 + '25 models over and above what they usually come with. My '24 890 SMT had 2 years so now it'll have a full 3 years - only caveat is that KTM requires owners to have the first service completed at a certified dealer for the warranty to be valid. For me it's paying $100 to buy the parts and do at home VS $275 for a dealer to do it so for the extra $175 it's a no brainer to get 1 more full year of peace of mind. (if KTM goes belly up in the meantime, clearly all owners are fubared)
Doing my part to keep this God forsaken company alive. When I signed the paperwork she showed me that it has a 72 month factory warranty! I'll have to ask her for a copy of that form. For now I found an updated warranty site. Maybe it's 2yr + another 4yr now? https://www.ktm.com/en-us/service/warranty.html#accordion-1493385b4f-item-5697d8729c
You guys are going to love it ... my 23 SDR is such a fun bike. Although, a bit nervous on the front compared to what I'm used to.
Man I really hope they can figure this out. If they get parted out it will have a lot of impacts all across the industry.
I'm loading up a Husaberg 570 this week and the top triple says 'KTM'...what kind of bankrupt, $3 billion in debt, moron CEO, Euro-trash bullshit is this?
