I even like his music, writing, voice etc. The DVD that has all of his band configurations is classic in so many ways. Venom is right on about the trio stuff. Sometimes what some of you consider 'cool' makes me feel like I'm arguing about the aesthetics of nascrap. Well add me to the list of wrong. He went to Berklee school of music, can play the shite outta the guitar, and writes some pretty cool stuff. Clarity is one of the coolest mellow things I've ever heard. I saw him with Keith Urban on Crossroads. There was definitely some fine trim in that audience. Oh, and the music was pretty damned good too!
You don't have to like all of his music. There's a lot of the targeted towards the vagina having crowd I pass on but the Trio stuff is excellent.

He's just doing what anyone who is smart enough would. He's got skill, but skill doesn't make $$$$, brainless bs sells tickets and CD's.
