It's Sammich Month !

Sandwiches are featured more frequently on restaurant menus than any other type of entree. If you happen to include hamburgers in the “sandwich” category, they make up more than half of all restaurant food sales.

Mine is 'Mater soup and a grilled cheese.

How about an MLT, mutton, lettuce and tomato sandwich. When the mutton is lean....and the tomato is ripe....they're so perky. I like that.

My wife's best friend introduced me to it. Have been hooked ever since.

She also does ritz crackers with orange slices and sharp cheddar....really good!

 

Buffalo NY area has Weber's mustard with horseradish. Makes sandwiches perfect.

Grilled chicken, roasted peppers and fresh mozzarella on good crusty Italian bread with some balsamic vinaigrette!



Or a nice homemade meatball Parm!

 

Fried shrimp with a variety of cheeses ideally on fresh sourdough bread

 

That sounds so disgusting that I may have to try it... I love combinations like that, turn your stomach when you hear the description but turn out to be incredible...
