Yes. Non members can sign up I’m pretty sure. If you have an account on their site they can be found under the Classes tab. February matches are already posted.

What trigger weight are you aiming for? And is this gun your EDC? I prefer a somewhat heavy trigger pull for my holstered weapon. Maybe my drawing technique is different.

Anyone shoot an Sro? Seems like it’d be a good competition optic

I have one on the shelf I’m going to put on my Atlas Titan. My experience with that will determine if I put a RMR or a SRO on my Athena.

Only thing I’d like to change about the SRO is make the dot green.

I don't have a trigger gauge, so I don't know what the actual pull weight is, but it's definitely more than my XD40 Sub Compact, my Range Officer Champion in 45, and my Ruger LC9S. I'm thinking I would like it to be in the 4 1/2 to maybe up to 5......and yes, it's my EDC.

I'm going to ask the guy to test the trigger pull before he does the trigger and Performance spring kit install, just for comparison sake.

SRO on the Athena all day long. Far better competition style optic in my opinion. I like my RMRs and they'll continue to live on my hard use guns. But for comp or just range toys, SRO all day long.

I've fired the LC9S before. I enjoyed borrowing that pistol. Thinking it's probably a 4-ish feel on the trigger pull.

I probably agree....somewhere in the 4s with that one. The LC9S is the gun my wife enjoys shooting....she not much into the 40SW or the 45. Hopefully I can get the new XDS somewhere into the 4s

I had a stainless/gray laminate 60 in the 90s. Had to sell during some hard times. Wish I could buy a new one. Don't think that's gonna happen as long as Ruger owns Marlin...

Just keep an eye on your local forums. They’re common enough I’m sure one will pop up before long. Or just head over to GB. I picked mine up from an old coworker about 10 years ago for $100. Still maybe the best gun buy I’ve ever made. I’m sure they’re a little more now but can’t be much.

Update. It’s better than kick ass. It’s addicting. The language from Denise when she misses is epic!!!!

Is this the gateway to getting Denise to a competition?

They gotta develop the 'toy' gun to have a recoil mechanism built in eventually, no?

Seems like 'they' could develop an electronic ram of sorts that would cycle the slide. All the robotic engineers should be able to whip something up in a wknd.

There's already a system out there that "simulates" recoil, I saw a video of it a week or so ago. It's pneumatically powered and it involves switching the barrel of your gun to their barrel. It honestly did not look very realistic to me, with the amount of "recoil" that it generated, plus it's several hundred dollars. For the life of me, I don't remember the name of the company....probably because it just didn't impress me that much.

Well, they did a pretty good job with the controller..it’s overall feel and weight are quite a bit like my Staccato P, and the “trigger” has a pretty good feel.
You get one Optic with the game when you start, but I’ve stuck to iron sights so far. I can actually “see” the irons on the game…I have a very hard time with them in the real world…the bifocals really mess them up for me. And I noticed today I’m shooting irons with both eyes open pretty organically.

I see them for sale all the time on Armslist and at pawn shops, typically for around $150-200. My dad bought me one when I was 12 (1972), I believe it was around $70 new then. Sadly, I have no clue what happened to it.
