Replace the striker with an MCarbo titanium striker kit and you will like that trigger a LOT more.

    I have a CZ 75 P01 that went there. It’s fantastic.

I'm starting to develop an interest in dmr competitions. I figure if I have my P07 worked over it'll be a decent option to get my feet wet. Shadow 2 is in my long term plans for a fun range/competition gun.

I walked in to get a 43X for the same reason but ended up with a Springfield XDS. It's been my EDC for years, especially in the heat with shorts. It came with 7,8 and 9 round magazines.

Got a buddy that just did one and said it was great. I’m gonna try to get to one with him if I ever stop working

I do have the xds mod2 and like you have really liked that gun. I also have the full size xd 4" and like it also. I forgot about them until your remark.

Anybody shot the FN Reflex? I would assume it’s built to FN’s high standards.. Maybe another option for concealed carry?

Walked into a small independent shop in the middle of nowhere about 15 miles from home. Fondled a few Springfields, shields, etc. Unfortunately they didn't have any subcompact Caniks. Wound up walking out with something that wasn't even on my radar.

Very G26 esque. Came with no extras besides a mag loader. One 10 round mag. Can run 10+1. But it felt better in my hands than any of the other subcompacts I tried and had a better trigger, although still a little happy meal feeling. $300 out the door. I'm gonna see if I can find an extended mag. Will test it out tomorrow if weather cooperates.

Alternated between shooting a mag from my AR and a mag from the new Stoeger today. Only got 2 mags from each before rain set in. It shoots really well. Triggers good, fits my hand well. No malfunctions in the whole 22 rounds I got to fire. I ordered a 13 round extended mag, which should be even more comfortable without having my pinky hanging off the grip.

22 rounds with no malfunctions is better than some of the turds being cranked out by some bigger name manufacturers. Sweet!

It's pretty much a Turkish Glock, but with less plastic. Stainless guide rod, steel sights.

Kinda resembles a clone HK VP9 to me more than a Glock.

The break on the trigger is substantially better than the typical FN but the reset feels like it’s in the next county.
Was the 365 you shot brand new? Flat face or curved trigger? They feel better once you get some rounds through them but they’re always going to be a little mushy. I’ve heard the curved shoe is better once it breaks in but prefer the flat.

I’ve shot two of the small Caniks. One had possibly the worst trigger I’ve personally pulled but the other was fantastic. I regularly shoot with the owners of both and I’d say they shoot more than the average person. They both run great, pretty much no issues. I’ll try to check in with the one that had the bad trigger and see if it improved with more rounds. I literally put the first mag through that gun and that was it.

Edit…guess I should’ve read further. Glad you like the new blaster

I don't know a lot about handguns in general. The few reviews I've read or watched compared it to the G26. They make an even smaller variant. This is the SC, but there's also an MC. Wouldn't wanna go smaller myself.

Tell your friends about this. Fixed most of the 365s mushy trigger issues.

Best pocket 380 imho is the new bodyguard 380. It’s a mini m&p smaller than a Glock 43, really nice trigger and holds 10 or 12 rounds. We got in a few and they were gone immediately.

Comparing the STR-9SC to my P07, all of the size difference is in the grip. Not just the length of it, every dimension is smaller. I think the barrel is 0.2" shorter. Slide is just as thick. But it makes a noticeable difference in bulk. I have small hands and short fingers so it's really comfortable for me. I don't know that I could shoot the micro version as well. Muzzle rise isn't that much different than a compact gun. I really enjoyed it in the limited time I had.

speaking of triggers I put the Apex trigger in my FN 509t (along with the extractor and firing pin). dropped the pull a bit over a pound and really made the thing much smoother and cleaner break. Now that I've put Geissele triggers in everything, last time I shot the FN I realized I needed to fix it.

shot the Banshee 9mm a bit at the range as well. that thing is just fun.

Submitted 2 form 4 trusts on Saturday.
One was approved yesterday and the other today. It’s a good time to blow some money if you can find what you want in stock. I’ve had a couple on back order pushing 2 months. Maybe one day supply and approvals will be in sync. Must of been a shit ton of people waiting for micro wait times before they were willing to buy.
