nifty... there is a shop in San Diego that knows them well & stocks parts. https://vespamotorsport.com/
Send a picture to Barber. They might give you some info on the sidecar. Worth a shot IMO Congratulations to your daughter major score even at a higher price. Also Spitfire says a bubble like on the batmobile and he would ride the sidecar....well then he grumbled about machine gun mount.... maybe she shouldn't give him a ride.
It would seem this really belongs in this thread. https://forums.13x.com/index.php?threads/going-overboard-as-a-dad.350588/ Seriously, very cool.
very cool! NOW....if you see another one....Denise would totally dig on having something like that...the side car for Brick, of course.
Don’t bring the Vespa to VMD. I eeerrr Someone may steal it. But if you do, let me know where you’re pitting.
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1964-vespa-with-sidecar-vespa-vbb-150cc/ Awesome find. I have my eye out for one for my parents. Maybe I can use yours to beat the guy down on price a bit.
Congrats, great dad move! The red tape is insane these days, particularly when for tax purposes a foundation is involved. I’ve had to turn down a lot of major donations of equipment, as a lot of foundations now want you to effectively pay them to serve as a go-between.
It sounds romantic, but a Yamaha Zuma will accomplish the same task and is way more reliable with widely available parts.
