Facial scan @ ID scan @ restaurant

Okay this really bugs me wtf! There's this restaurant I used to go to where I used to live it's been there for like 40 years it's called "The Beer Hunter " in La Quinta.
They have reasonably good food similar to like a TGIF Fridays whatever obviously they serve beer over 100 different varieties.
It's been a huge place with the golfers, and sports .

Anyways I haven't been there for a couple years so I went in they will not allow you in without taking a facial recognition picture of you running it through a computer same with your ID they want to read the barcode on your ID and if it is expired etc they won't even allow you to come into the restaurant and eat..

A restaurant to eat ...are you f***ing serious.

I mean I get it for checking age 21 and under... but this... it's weird.

If any of you folks had anything like this happen at any places you frequent? Got nothing to hide but I don't like it it bugs me it's creepy orwellian I don't have to describe it .

The place used to be busy too and now there was hardly anybody in there I won't be going back I even told the manager.....

Absolutely true. However, I don't have to put up with that shit to eat mediocre food in a noisy environment surrounded by people I probably wouldn't invite to dinner.

 

I still don't like that Pittrace takes pictures of everybody in your car when you show up.

I've been there, when working on the casino's event center.

That was in 2005 though and they didn't do any of that shit. Good beer selection back then too.

And nope, no pictures of me so I can give you my money. Fuck that.

 

Nopity nope no nuh uh. And leave erry bad Google, yelp, TripAdvisor review possible. Give em a welcome to the other side of the digital age.
I respect their right to make bad business decisions but stupid should hurt.
