Shit, I'm over 50 and I went to get smokes for the wife a few years ago and they wouldn't use my expired DL. Even with the paper printout. Haven't been to that place again/

On topic they use them on base and the accuracy pretty much sucks. I would be more worried about the identity theft from the ID database.

the flip side is you know there will be a gov't agent that cant use a simple chip reader wand... then it will be hilarious trying to prove your credentials...

 

When I flew out of DFW last month, my departing gate was set up with facial scanners. Walk up to the gate, and they tell you you're good to go, and even what seat you're in.

Not sure where they collect from, I do have global entry, but I doubt all of the people in front of me did and they boarded just fine.

 

I'm pretty sure everyone here but me has been arrested and you're all lying about having global entry.

 

Worse I am one of them....so for entry I have been printed and all that. Kind of like when the paint colored dots on sheep in England to show whose is whose....

 

They should reflect that in their rules or somewhere noticeable on their website cuz the first rule says...

Facility Rules and Regulations:
- Waiver must be signed by each individual before entering the premises.

No other method mentioned that was more readily viewed and no mention further in the rules so, what are they talking about? Printed/signed waivers? No printed waivers but electronic sig to a pic? What?
