The next statements do not apply to the mass shooter but I believe it is a problem. There are a lot of crazy hotheads. You will see them if you go out to restaurants often or drive in heavy traffic. People that get way bent out of shape for alleged wrongs. When a jackasses is wronged they way overreact and it can escalate. It used to end with shouting insults or a fistfight. Now make sure everyone has a gun and the outcome can easily change. I don't know the solution. I grew up around guns, and have no fear of guns unless there is a jackass or attention whore carrying it. Our society is so mad and up tight I'm not surprised at what is happening.
A way to deal with jackasses or attention whores is to not participate in escalation. That way a person does not need to test who can draw the fastest. When people are acting unstable or crazy I have made police aware. That way it hopefully contributes to the person loosing weapon privilege.
That Cowboys star version of the tattoo and the shooter's are definitely not identical, but it could be personal variations. The shooter's looks just like the City logo to me. Not sure what that means, is it a regular gang thing in Dallas?
My post was a very abridged edition in response to TZs statement. I wont apologize for wanting all of our great grandkids to have food. If you dont know what Im talking about bring it up at Phils.
You can thank Regan for ending a lot of the Federal mental health care institutions and programs. California version as Governor: https://www.sacbee.com/news/politic...Lanterman,person's assets and legal decisions. Federal Version as President: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mental_Health_Systems_Act_of_1980
And Governor Ronnie signed it. Regardless of affiliation, it was detrimental to those individuals turned out of the State system and even more so to the society they were inflicted upon. At a national level, he revoked federal mental health funding. Again, to the detriment of those individuals in the Federal system and definitely to society at large.
