I was trying to explain this to my kid and his friend, it's tough but for perspective;
In the 80's-90's, in my city, there would be 8-10 trucks in the SCHOOL parking lot,
most with 2-4 long gun's in the back window, Loaded! with the truck Unlocked!
If a couple trucks were missing, you knew a season just opened and they were skippin class.

Absolutely like that too. And we didn't think anything about it. People had more sense. Yes we had fights in the school parking lot but never did anyone ever pull a gun.

I do have to comment about the folkes on this site. In general we can give opinions without getting shouted down. There are people here that I have disagreed with in the past that have agreed with me on other topics. And I have done the same. This is a pretty good bunch of knuckleheads.
