If that is a XR/CRF100 with a stock carb, choke is all the way up and when you push the black lever down, the choke of off.
I found with the stock box and carb that one up on the pilot (40 I believe) and 1 up on the main (100 i believe) made things run much better.
So in my quest to stay cheap. I can pick up all the spokes, OEM off ebay for 15 bucks a side. And a brand new rim for $23 plus shipping. Then the Diablo scooter tire and tube so that puts me at about $120 on the front rim total. Sound about right fellas?
I put a Dynojet 98 in it which I believe is the equivalent to the 102 Keihin. It had a Keihin 98 in it. Runs and pulls strong now. Could probably go down to a 96DJ as it backfires on deceleration
I have seen a ton of info on jetting but not much on the airbox setup... What is the preferred air intake setup? 1. No airbox, no filter 2. No airbox, pod filter 3. Airbox with top section cut with pod filter 4. Airbox with no mods with pod filter Thanks! Andrew
