Dunno Man, last night I had a couple 13% beers, some drink with gin, absinthe and 12 other ingredients, and then when I got home had a whisky sour with Yukon Jack. Think I'm gonna take it easy tonight, maybe just some rum...

We are the last generation that cares enough about this to buy new motorcycles. I wish it wasn't so, but it is.

With my job and volunteer work I am around a lot of young people. I can’t recall any of them having any interest in motorcycling. Anecdotal it still concerning

Sad but true. I resisted believing this because I guess I just didn't want to, but it's true. I'm at ground zero H-D country, and work in an industry where we typically hire type-A single males. I used to laugh at the number of brand new, or new-to-them bikes I would see new guys buying just after they got off their probationary period. It never happens now. I know of ONE guy who we've hired in the last 15 years who bought a motorcycle, and he's been looking to sell it. You know who I see buying bikes? The dudes just about to retire.

And it's not just HD stuff, when I was hired in 2000 3/4 of the guys I got hired with owned sportbikes, and I think almost all of us bought brand new ones within a year. I don't know of anyone who's even considering it anymore. 141 guys on my job, 7 of us own motorcycles. 4 could actually be considered 'riders'. None of them are under 30, one is under 40. I'm the ONLY who is even thinking about buying another bike, but I generally buy/sell at least 3 per year so I'm an outlier.

Granted I live in Wisconsin where the season is limited, but I can't believe this phenomenon is limited to the midwest.

I see new guys buying trucks, a new phone every year, tablets, and taking trips. I can't believe the amount of 25 year olds I see taking 2-3 expensive ass trips per year with their chicks. I'm all for travel, and I'm not judging how anyone spends their money, that's just what I see.

Don't know, the younger young generation seem to like them. My kid and her friends are asking to get them.

Too bad there is NO place to ride or she'd have one.
