Was anyone else long on Bitcoin Cash before today?

They turned off that Ink deal at Staples, I believe.

 

I think it works like other investments. I believe you can buy $10k (or whatever amount) in crypto without reporting it but when you sell it, if you get out more than you put in , there is capital gains tax so you have to report that as income.

Edit - sorry I just realized you asked for an answer from someone who knows for sure, and I don't.

 

Don't know but I would assume the difference is one is an asset the other a currency.

At Staples, the "sale" says limit five cards per customer. But if you have a good relationship with the store, have them ring up seven cards for a $1400 transaction, which falls under the $1500 "red flag." If you do $1400 x 7 times/week, that is $9800; 5% of that is $490 cash in your pocket. Better returns than @motion 's efforts in trying to time stock values.
