I don't know if he let Hillary bitch slap him so much as the Democrat party just learned the hard way that what the party wants is not the same as what the country wants. The funny thing to me is that both parties had an outsider that was far more popular than the establishment candidates. The Republicans eventually buckled under the pressure (as usual) and "allowed" Trump to run. The Democrats stuck to their guns (metaphorical guns, because real guns are scary) and ran Hillary, thinking that their voter base would do as they were told, which, to be fair, usually works.
Yeah, that story really bugged me at the time and still does. But what bugs me even more are the Bernie supporters that still don't see a problem with it.
He still got royally screwed by the DNC. I guess probably the same way Hillary did when Obama came on the scene. Maybe Debbie Wasserman Schultz is getting some karma on that with her IT aide scandal
Aside from putting "far" or "extreme" before the word "left" in the first sentence and me self identifying as left of center, I'm in full agreement with your statement
That amount of money wouldn't buy a a 1000 sq foot house in the San Francisco/San Jose area. https://www.cnbc.com/2017/05/04/this-silicon-valley-teardown-just-sold-for-2-6-million.html
Liberals never have an issue with hypocrisy. It's the entire basis for their (lack of)thought process.
Who cares. $600,000 is $600,000. The location of the house and the differences in realstate markets is not the issue. In the end a simple "man of the people" who makes a living off of vilifying others who have money, showed that he was no different than those that he constantly chastises. Liberal hypocrisy at its finest.
Bernie would have imploded as much as Hillary did. Probably even quicker given how psycho he really is with the socialist stuff.
Who is this "you folks" you be referencing? Don't and wouldn't live in So Cal or the Bay area. It is 3rd largest state in the country, while we have our issues there's a couple pluses too. Just over two hours to the ocean for diving/fishing/sailing or the mountains for skiing/backpacking/hunting. I've gone snow skiing on a Sat and water skiing on a Sunday in the spring time, could have done it in the summer too as I used to water ski year round. More fruit and vegetables grown here that just about anywhere else in the states. Three really nice tracks, within a couple hours, you've probably heard of Sears Point and Laguna. Deserts to rain forests, our wilderness acreage is almost as large as the state of West Virginia.
Sounds like the Carolinas and GA except for your desert and our humidity. You can keep the fruits and veggies...human and other.
Bernie was a coward plain and simple and too stupid to know it. He literally got more cheers when he defended himself once against that cunt when she interrupted him. Unfortunately he isn't smart enough to realize that the majority of the people are smart enough to see he is/was completely full of shit.
He's too stupid to realize he's slamming himself...or maybe he doesn't realize the election is over? Hard to tell...socialism is a helluva drug man: https://twitter.com/SenSanders/status/900153026631139329?ref_src=twsrc^tfw&ref_url=http://twitchy.com/gregp-3534/2017/08/23/a-self-own-for-the-record-books-elderly-socialist-accidentally-tells-himself-to-get-the-hell-out-of-politics/
Political theater Happens every time this comes around. Don't worry , the Republicans will cave like they always do.
AZ is another example of how Trump never really got out of campaign mode, mostly since he doesn't have any real inclination toward work that doesn't result in immediate praise. But I feel like there has been a shift now. It almost seems as if he is deliberately campaigning for impeachment votes the way he's going after Senate Republicans. I can also see Trump then claiming victory and doing "what Bill Clinton couldn't get the votes to do"!
