I said (granted not a full superbike) lol And way closer to a modern superbike then when I was racing superbikes in 03 with a Gsxr 1000 with 20k in it.
Toprak has style like Simoncelli did. He is a big guy and loves to play around doing stunts and shit. I remember #58 coming all the way down pit road at Indy doing a huge stoppie at the end of a practice session on the LCR Honder one year and the crowd was going crazy. Miller has the same spirit. I like it.
Weird story I just read at speedweek suggests that Honda/ HRC may end their Repsol sponsorship after 2020. That kind of blew my mind.
Even the oil giant can’t pay all these bonus salaries to Marquez? Would be cool to see the Honda’s a new color. I miss the blue Telefonica Movie Star colors. Was that Gibernau? Seriously though. I was surprised to see Petronas back a satellite team. I figured that company would want to be a full factory team backer like they are in F1 with the best car and the best driver. and maybe there was no room on a big team but if Repsol stands aside... Would be cool to see the HRC bikes in Petronas colors.
Geez, the guy can't even ride a streetbike or shoot his bow and arrow without ending up on the couch for a week. Guess he won't be back on the grid next year. https://www.motorsport.com/motogp/news/casey-stoner-chronic-fatigue-syndrome/4606046/
Always liked Casey, hate hearing about this but he sounds like every retiree I know. Can't even head down to the common areas to play shuffleboard anymore.
https://www.motorsportmagazine.com/...0PZSYsXv3TaWLD9Q0Rm0NaU3OyO5UZORe-dNEm3LbzNZM Interesting statistics on crashes.. 971 crashes throughout Moto3, 2, and GP this year - only 28 broken bones and 9 concussions (that left riders unable to race)
More rumors about the HRC/ Repsol in the Spanish press. Not renewing after 2020. Repsol got too much to say who they get for riders, and the Honda/Repsol market in Spain is well covered. Honda wants more international cover. Nothing new here, move along.
